So much has happened since we last meet, on a glowing computer screen, late at night....
First...THEATRICAL BUSINESS...
The show I directed was a wonderful success, better than I could have imagined. It was a great lesson in learning to let go when needed and putting trust in that Higher Power. Moving on...
I auditioned for a show, as you know Tuesday night.
Here is the head shot I used. Roger and Bonnie helped take it. The company I auditioned for didn't need a professional one and I saved over $200.
This was my other choice. So which one do you think is best? I used the brown background.
This is me when I got home. Do I look 25? That was what I was going for...I have a pony-tail.
I auditioned with full knowledge of the politics involved. For example it's about who you know. I don't know anyone. The part that was my age kind of called for a blond and one of the performances would conflict with the Roadshow and I am in charge of that. My goal was to feel good about the audition and be seen by people. The conclusion of the story is that I kicked major butt and feel like I had the best audition for the role. I was cast as an understudy. Please don't think that is lame. I am actually quite pleased with the results. Also, I really don't want to slip into feelings of lameness.
Chocolate butterflies anyone?
I also decorated a cake yesterday. I took it to the church and was in such a hurry that I didn't "secure"it well enough and it CRASHED on the first turn! It was actually fairly sturdy and not a complete tragedy.

Congrats on the role! I'm excited.
And excited about the cake. Wow, is that pretty. I'm glad the crash didn't result in complete disaster.
I love the headshots. Kudo's to Roger and Bonnie. I am so excited about your new adventures. You are amazing.
