So, I haven't decided really if I want to open up this can of worms...but I guess the lid must be sliding off a bit or I wouldn't be blogging about it. I am pretty private about most things, believe it or not. But this has been a big part of my life of late. OK, here goes....I am directing a small one act play that some people that I met wrote. I am learning a lot. Humility mostly. It has been a short and painful, at times, process. The final product will come out next Tuesday. I will tell you how it goes.
Here's where I really open the can, more than a crack. I am auditioning for a play this coming Monday. I think that this play represents my entire artistic self at this time in a very strange way. So, cross your fingers for me, dear friends, because if I don't get cast....

Good luck. You were good in the plays that I saw you in. Also the plays you directed turned out well. So they would be missing out big time not to cast you. I hope you get a part you enjoy. There are no douts in my mind as to your ability.
