I live in a beautiful place

I drove home today and I loved it. The drive is 3.5 to 4 hours long and I decided to take my time. I listened to "Shadow of the Hegemon," By Orson Scott Card as I drove and decided to take the scenic route. I took a few pictures.

This is what the majority of my drive looked like. I have never been to Ireland, but that is what the scenery makes me think of. I loved it! I was grateful for the chance to pay more attention to the world around me and to enjoy what I have.

These Canadian Geese were munching on something in an old apricot orchard. There were about thirty of them. I thought that they flew south for the winter. Hummm....interesting. I guess "south" depends on where you start from.

I am home now and so glad to see my sweet husband and my sweet puppies.

In other news, I wish Dan good luck on his upcoming exams and Kat good luck waiting for Dan to graduate.

Ahhh, Melissa.
Thank you so much for the good luck wishes.
I wish I could have been with you for your drive. That would have been the most fun.

I love the photos.

Say HI to the puppies for me.

hugs,
Kat
