"FORK-give me if I FORK-get"--The Blue Raja

Two exciting things to report to you today.
The first one I discovered when I got home yesterday. First, a little back story....My husband is both creative and stylish. When we moved into our place he was really talking heavily about art deco furnishings...not my thing. But we discovered that the bathroom was kind of art deco already. The colors we started with were chrome, white and blush. So he made the bathroom his masterpiece. I had nothing to do with it.
He found this on Craig's List, not exactly art deco, but cool.
Roger, the evil genius of bathrooms with the shower curtain he just had to have.
I won't bore you with the sink area. All this work and we still needed a curtain for our bathroom window. We have been using a towel, but that just doesn't cut it. Here is what he did.

Functional, stylish and if he runs out of clean shirts, this one is always in reserve.

Second thing to report. Roger and I went to an Ethiopian restaurant tonight for our pre-Valentine's Day festivities. It was very, very good. Imagine if you will, a restaurant that does not even have forks in the kitchen for you to request. Imagine if you will, eating your whole meal with yummy crepe things. Everything was saucy and reminiscent of Indian food. We spoke to the owner, very nice guy. We will see him again.

This is the mural outside of the restaurant. Don't ask what I am doing, I don't know.

Sam and I are big fans of Ethiopian food. We went to a place in DC and were astonished, impressed.

Almost as impressed as I am by the art deco bathroom. Loving the shirt-curtain.
