Okay... so she's not really retired, nor was it really technically a "party" (other than every day being a party at the Pastry Garden), but this was Melissa's last day of paid work in Hattiesburg. Tomorrow, we take Bonnie to the New Orleans airport and plan on spending a few hours showing her the French Qtr
and getting lunch at Mona's (we'll let you know if it lives up to the rep.) Our pups are getting quite suspicious as they see more and and more of their home boxed up. Bug has been through it all before (Texas to Mississippi in '04) so I think he knows a little of what is in store for him.

We really could be counting our remaining time in Mississippi in hours instead of days by this point. Wish us well as we start our westward migration. Hope we haven't got too warm-blooded living below the Mason-Dixon these past 7 years...
