Have I mentioned yet that I have really cool neighbors? Last week they invited us over for dinner with a few of their friends. It was a lot of fun. They are about our age, and they are into a lot of the same things we are. The wife is an artist, a painter of still life. She has her studio set up in the basement. She was talking about wanting to work on portraits but being nervous to hire models and I said I would sit for her. It was quite exciting. Really. I got to do three things that I really enjoy: read, hold perfectly still for two hours and have someone draw my likeness.
This is my talented an inspiring neighbor Rebecca in the studio here is a link to her site. You should check it out
This is some of her work, I'm afraid the picture turned out a bit fuzzy. She is about to take this to a local gallery.
This is me, but I had a hard time not cracking up a little bit when she suggested we take this picture, I think it's pretty cool.
On the adoption front, Roger is plowing along on those questions that we have to answer. Remember: Describe your mother's personality?...etc. If I'm not careful he is going to beat me!

I love that you got to model. You're neighbor seems so cool. I love that she makes bread once a week. The painting looks beautiful so far.
love it.
Wikipedia says chiropractors are notorious for fraud abuse and overall quackery. Roger do you have any more bottles of that back freeze stuff. I wanna buy some for my roommate. Write me back at patbarnick@hotmail.com
