Here we sampled some of Clark Counties best pizza at Vancouver Pizza Company. Luckily for us, Dan used to work at a pizza place and he was able to guide us to the most tasty treats.
Kat and I shopped at a vintage shop called Urban Eccentric. We both found some fun things to look at. I must admit that this skirt was my favorite, and I am still thinking about a beautiful grey slip priced to sell.
We went to Powell's Bookstore. HUGE! But I couldn't find three books that I was looking for. With over a million titles on the shelf, how could that happen?
Portland Art museum was a lot of fun, until I got hungry and cranky. This was one of the coolest pieces. This horse was made entirely from driftwood. I wanted to touch it, but I didn't.
They left us, weeping on the doorstep, but confident that we will see them again. With a pinch of luck, they might even be able to move to the area someday. hip-hip hurray.
P.S. If the freeways aren't closed because of flooding, we have our first home study meeting tomorrow.
