Bread Bag Boots

"I thought this was a temperate climate!"--Valarie Blessley
I guess we are experiencing the biggest snowstorm in 10 years. Cool! (literally)
This is is a picture of the same view out the window that I took yesterday and posted on the blog. Right now we have about 7 inches of snow, 1/2 inch of ice and three more inches to top it off. And boy is it still coming down! Rizzo is loving it despite the cold.

This is to give you a little idea.
Because Roger and I have been away from the Northwest for so long, we don't really have snow gear. Roger decided to tie grocery bags around his shoes to keep them dry. He got the idea from a book we were reading.

Here he is tying them on. Note how excited the dogs are.

Good thing he has them on, his shoes are buried in the snow. BRRRRRR!

I have some good news. I have an interview to teach improvisation at a theatre school once a week. Not much, but it's a start. Merry Christmas. I miss you Kat.

Melissa,
I wish I was with you in the snow storm. We could be making all sorts of neat treasures. I am so excited about your job interview. It sounds like you could meet a lot of neat people.
Bug and Rizzo, look like they're having the most fun. I hope Rizzo warms up and grows some more fur. Moving is hard.
p.s. Your tree looks lovely.
Roger,
Your snow gear ROCKS (just like you)
hugs
