It was GREAT seeing so many of our friends last night at our "Farewell"/"Adoption Celebration" we shared memories, heard many kind words of encouragement and had many generous 
donations to our kids' Adoption Fund. Kat and Dan opened their home to the event and Kat, Melissa, Bonnie, Taylor and our ward's Young Women group all worked together to make it a very classy event. No one left lacking in the way of tasty treats. Hopefully this blog can help our distant friends and families to stay connected to our adoption.

Melissa is speeding to Atlanta, by train, at this very moment to see some of her USM friends that have settled there. The goal for the weekend is to get our house 98% packed and to finally sell the truck (our previous buyer backed out).
Hattiesburg holds many treasured memories and friendships
for us and realizing that we are going to be gone in a week
has us both feeling sentimental.
