Happy Camper Club

Melissa's family has a tradition of camping at Ohanapecosh Campground in the Mt. Ranier National Forest. A big motivation for us to move back to Washington State was to share new adventures (and keep old traditions) with our families. And so a'camping we did go.

Rachel (age 4) and the camp mascot, Maia kept us all on our toes.

Luke (age almost 2) spent the entire time running around entirely too close to the campfire or trying to escape into the forest.
Melissa and I took a "leisurely" hike to Silver Falls and Grove of the Patriarchs.
People do odd things at high altitudes. Bryan and I thought it would be a kick to take a swim in the glacier run-off. Forty-two degree water can be described as "invigorating".
Friends, family, dogs, kids, fire, rivers... really, what more can we ask for?
