Roger and I are driving up to Centrailia today because of some Mississippi paperwork that is necessary for our adoption. It is a background check...I promise, we are clean....
We discovered two weeks ago that for some reason we need a Mississippi background check for the adoption. Not Texas though....hummm. Our Social Worker signed the paper and sent it to us so that we could sign it and fax it in. No big deal.
Mississippi then lets her know that it needs to be mailed. AND we have to sign it in front of her. So the delay...the drive...this is the last paperwork we need. I have my suspicions that the clearance will be neither quick nor efficient. Four years of experience in that Deep South state taught me that.
One good thing, today is the first day of Spring!
