We are having an adoption road trip.
(Don't get too excited.)
The man who is our adoption agency contact in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital, is going to be in the United States for the first time ever. Sunday. In Bellingham, Washington. That is about a four hour drive for us. Four hours cannot keep two adventurers such as Roger and myself from this exciting meet and greet! We will be leaving Saturday after rehearsal.
The Gentleman's name is Abdissa. I think he is the one that will be matching us with kids.
Doesn't he look so kindhearted?
He has never had good old American home cooking, so we are having a potluck.
If Jim were here, I would ask him to make his shrimp and grits.
Delish

Cute baby, hu?

Abdissa does look super nice. I am thrilled that you are going to be able to meet him. I also love that the meet and greet involves a road trip. Road trips are good for the soul.
love and hugs,
kat
p.s. It is too bad that Jim can't go with you to make him some shrimp and grits. He is missing out.
Hey Barnicks! It's fun to see your blog and check in on ya'll. So glad everything is moving along with the adoption and sounds like many good things are happening there. If you'll send me your email I'll add you to our blog if you're interested! dyansbell@yahoo.com
