Next Thursday, November 6th, we are inviting all of our Hattiesburg friends to stop by and help us celebrate. Our superfriends, Kat and Dan, are hosting an Adoption Celebration/Goodbye Party/Open House at their place. Our family in Washington is invited as well, but we don't really expect them to make the cross-country trip.
The event that you are invited to is also a fundraiser to help fund our adoption. Instead of baby gifts, please donate any amount to help us bring these children into our family. We will be providing a delicious array of treats for you to sample while we mix, mingle and say our goodbyes. Seriously, any amount---from $1 on up would help a lot.
We have had SO MANY well-wishes and enthusiastic support. THANKS EVERYBODY!
In other news: The Hattiesburg Nuclear Chili Blast-Off went down last night. Melissa and I were a little late on the scene but had a few minutes to see our buds. I also got to spend a little chill time with my buddies Charlie and Skillet.
We are frantically packing boxes trying to get ready for our move (16 days to go) to Vancouver. Also, we're hosting a little Alien Invasion partay tomorrow night. Return for photos. See them here before they show up in the tabloids.

okay, so we're not going to come to you party- really I wish we could but . . .
when Stan told me you were adopting we wanted to help out, so check you mail. We miss you guys!
Nice to see you on Facebook. Thanks a TON for the support and encouragement. We have had so many wonderful experiences just announcing our adoption. Melissa's grandmother said she was "doing a boogie dance" when she heard the news.
We miss you guys. You're going to be in Provo for a couple years yet, right?
We'll be in Provo at least until next fall, then where we are depends on where Stan finds a job. We'll keep you posted.
